About the show: Romeo and Juliet reimagined in New York City in the 1950s. Rival gangs, the Sharks and the Jets, gather to lay the ground rules for an upcoming rumble. When Tony and Maria meet for the first time, their star-crossed love ignites the stage. A collaboration with the South Bend Symphony Orchestra. Performance Dates: April 18th and 19th

Auditions: December 7th, 10 AM-3 PM at South Bend Civic Theatre, 403 N. Main St. Dancing will be in the morning and singing in the afternoon. Enter through the front doors of the theatre into main lobby to fill out an audition form. You will be directed from there.

Expected Rehearsal Schedule: They begin March 16th and are Mon-Thurs for the following four weeks. 6:30-9:30pm

Extra rehearsals: Saturday March 28th, 6:30 - 10pm, Sunday March 29th, 4-7:30pm, and Friday April 10th, 6:30-9:30pm.

Tech/Performance Week: April 13th - 19th, times TBD, possible all day rehearsal during the week.
