Whether you like to be “in the spotlight,” or prefer to stay “behind the scenes,” South Bend Civic Theatre offers plenty of opportunities to volunteer in every aspect of theatrical production.
South Bend Civic Theatre counts on its volunteers to produce one of the most ambitious theatrical schedules in local community theatre, not to mention in the entire state.
SBCT began the 2007 season in the beautifully renovated facility at 403 N. Main, housing the Marjorie H. & James M. Wilson Auditorium and Warner Studio Theatre. Now there are more opportunities than ever to get involved with one of the premier community theatres in the United States.
If you are interested in applying to be a member of South Bend Civic Theatre’s Board, you must first fill out an application. We ask all candidates who wish to be considered for the Board of Directors to fill out an application so that the Board can obtain information as to how each individual will contribute their skills to our organization. The Board will then make selections based upon how well their skills fit with our current needs. However, if your skills are not of our greatest need in the current year, we will keep these forms on file for at least three years for future annual board member selections. Board members serve a three year term.
If you would like to apply, please fill out the form which can be found under our Frequently Asked Questions list and either email it to boxoffice@sbct.org, mail it to PO Box 1146, South Bend, IN 46624 or drop it off to Tracie in the Box Office to give to the Board for review. Thank you!
Individual, corporate and/or foundation sponsors help underwrite production costs of each SBCT production throughout the calendar year.
