The Wizard of Oz Auditions

This is the classic story of Dorothy, the girl from Kansas, who goes searching over the rainbow for her heart’s desire. In the process she meets the Munchkins, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, the Wizard and, of course, the Wicked Witch of the West. All of the classic musical numbers from the film are included in this summer extravaganza.

Audition Info
Auditions: April 24 & 25 (Adults Only)
Audition location: First United Methodist Church (Enter through the door on Madison Avenue), 403 N.Main St. South Bend, IN
Times: Registration starts at 6pm with last audition at 8:30pm. Auditioners only need to come to one of the auditions dates. Those auditioning should come wearing shoes and clothes to dance. Auditions will consist of a musical audition where you will be asked to sing from one of the musical sides, and an acting audition where you will read from one of the script sides.

Auditions: April 29 (Children from ages 7-12)
Audition location: Warner Studio Theatre or rehearsal room at South Bend Civic Theatre, 333 N.Main St. South Bend, IN
Times: Registration starts at 1:00pm with last audition at 2:30pm. Those auditioning should come wearing shoes and clothes to dance. Auditions will consist of a musical audition where you will be asked to sing from one of the musical sides. Children will not be required to read from the script.

Callbacks (For Leading Roles and Dancers Only)
Callback Location: Warner Studio Theatre or rehearsal room at South Bend Civic Theatre, 403 N. Main St. South Bend, IN
Times: 2:30-5:00 (Be prepared to dance)

Rehearsal Info
Rehearsals begin May 8 and will run Monday-Friday 6:30PM-10:00PM. Rehearsals will take a break over Memorial Day and a four day weekend for the 4th of July. Show runs July 14-30, 2017
